My heart skipped a beat.
But then everything goes back to normal.
I replied, you thanked me, and that was the end of it.

I thought is saw sparks, I thought you felt it too.
I got my hopes up, but then I you let me down.

I must admit it was hard, to let go of you..
Part of me is blaming you for getting my hopes up.
A bigger part of me is blaming me, for getting my hopes up.

And although you might still reside in my fantasies, all the should have and would haves.
